Financial Freedom?

Financial freedom, really is that possible?

I thought about that answer. It is a common one when I asked "what do you really want out of life?"

What does that mean, let's dig deeper ... never to pay bills again? That would have been my answer a few years ago. I truly believed financial freedom was to never "have" to pay bills again.

Does it mean, to have all the money you want whenever you want? Once again, I remember this dream type feeling, "Yes if I just had as much as I wanted then I would be happy."

I laugh now at how foolish I must have sounded. My ah ha moment came when I realized it wasn't money that 'made' me happy it was 'having' an attitude of gratitude for all I have now that generated those peaceful happy feelings.

Financial freedom seems to stem from the desire to take back control. To be in control of your own life, your own time, eliminating the "have to's" in life. No more governmental control of how much money they take first out of your paycheck, no more employment control dictating how many days you can be sick in a year or how many days you can use for vacation. You are looking for a way to be your own boss and manage your own money. With that said, are you ready for that?

Let's see if you are. Try this on for one week. Say these two simple statements (they come from T.Harv Eker) in the mirror every morning and night with your hand over your heart

1. I am truly grateful for all the money I have now
2. I am an excellent money manager
